Subedar Joginder Singh Sahnan was an Indian Army soldier who was felicitated by the India’s highest military gallantry award – the Param Vir Chakra.

During the 1962 Sino-Indian War, he single-handedly killed more than 50 Chinese men with his bayonet.In Singh’s honour, a memorial statue and a monument has been built by the Indian Army to praise his valour.
