Thirukural is a one of the greatest classic works in Tamil language which is based on ethics and morality. It consists of 1,330 short couplets of seven words each, called Kurals.It has three divisions which exhibits aphoristic teachings on virtue (aram, dharma), wealth (porul, artha) and love (inbam, kama). The authorship is traditionally attributed to Thiruvalluvar who made this drive universally in a secular nature.
